Make you rental a success

With so many choices for your bounce house needs make sure you make your home ready for the inflatable.  Put the dog’s away, move any yard toys that will get in the way and have your grass cut and edged at least 2 days before the birthday party or party event.

Are you a first time Bounce House renter?

If this is your first time then here are some tips to make sure you get it right?

1. Have an area of 12 x 12 foot clear for on of the mini bounce houses and 15 x 16 foot clear for one of the medium bounce houses and 13 x 18 for the Super Slides
2. Have electricity plug within 50 feet from the location. If you are using one of the Actives then you will need 2 separate electricty circuits and outlets
3. Be home at least an hour before the time you booked it in. If we are going to be installing more then an hour prior we will call you before lunch time the prior workday before your party or event
4. Have an adult ready to be trained on the inflatable bounce house operations
5. Be prepared to see lots of smiles and hear lots of laughs
6. We are in the service industry so do not forget to tip your installer after he puts it up for you!

 

It can be difficult to pick the right company to rent from

There are plenty of operators out there renting these bounce houses.  Commonly called moonwalks, space jumps, jumpers and jumping castles.  How do you separate the good from the bad (or not so good)

Here is a list of shopping tips that you will find useful

• make sure the company you rent from supplies 2 covers.  There needs to be one for the sun and one for the rain.  If they don’t have 2 covers you will find yourself in a bad situation on the day if the weather is extreme in either direction. There are other companies in the metroplex that will not deliver if there is any chance of rain and in any heat of more then 80 degrees, if there is not a shade cover then the kids wil not be able to touch the bounce house bare feet.
• When your calling around if they don’t answer the phone then, I would bet they will not answer on the weekend.  So only go with companies that do answer the phone and answering machines wont help you out if you find yourself in a situation on the weekend.
• Insurance, is is worldwide practice that you should only rent a bounce hosue if they carry public liability insurance.  Ask the company as 83% don’t and they have the fingers crossed on every rental.
• THE BIG ONE.  Only rent a bounce house if it has inflatable walls.  Some companies carry the netted walled castle which means no child can bounce into or onto those walls without it tipping over.  These netted walled castles are banned in over 50 countries so take the advice from around the GLOBE and say no to netted walls.
